Toyota Motor North America announced executive changes effective mid-2026 to support its focus on regulatory excellence, sustainability, and corporate governance. Sandra Phillips (chief legal officer and chief sustainability officer) will retire July 31, 2026; Tom Stricker (regulatory affairs and environmental sustainability) will retire June 30, 2026. Chris Yang will expand his role to include chief legal officer; Liz Gibson will assume regulatory affairs and sustainability roles.
