Monkey and the farmer
A clever monkey uses his own pair of shoes to trick a farmer returning from the market. By dropping one shoe and then the other along the road, he convinces the farmer to leave his goat and goods unattended while he goes back for the matching shoe. The monkey then takes the goat, the goods, and both of his shoes, teaching the farmer a valuable lesson about distraction and misplaced priorities.
