Welcome back to Sox & Sober. My name is Nick and I am an alcoholic. This podcast explores my recovery process and the relationship that the Chicago White Sox play in the journey. Taking that first step is difficult. Sometimes you have to buy the ticket and take the ride. Following the fear is not an easy thing, especially for those in recovery. Allowing myself to be vulnerable helped me to find support systems and nurtured my self care. Addiction can beat us down and make us feel completely broken. Be kind to yourself... you are not alone.
