The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Pittsburgh Pirates, 10-6 as Trea Turner continued his tear!
Trea Turner kept swinging a hot bat bashing a three-run homer as part of a five-run 2nd inning for the Phillies. For Turner, it mark's his third straight game with a homer. Two weeks ago the Phillies' short stop was batting .216 and now has his average up to .239.
Brandon Marsh smacked another homer as well, his third in three games, while Alec Bohm put a bow on the Phillies' scoring with a two-run homer to center in the bottom of the 8th.
Bryce Harper also drove in two on a double in the 4th.
All that Phillies offense helped back a night where Zack Wheeler labored throwing 104 pitches over just 4.2ip. He allowed four runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out 10.
