NYS Halls of Fame Welcomes Neil Smith, Architect of the 1994 Stanley Cup Champion New York Rangers

Neil Smith has been a hockey executive, broadcaster, and former player, best known for serving as general manager of the New York Rangers from 1989 to 2000. He built the roster that ended the Rangers' 54-year Stanley Cup drought, culminating in the team's championship in 1994.  Steve is a member of the 2026 class being inducted into the New York State Hockey Hall of Fame.
